I’ve been terrible about reading more or less since I graduated from college almost five years ago. I’ll go through little bursts of reading, usually three or four books in the spring when I usually go on a vacation that jump starts the urge. This year I’m going to read a book a month, which isn’t lofty, but it has been a while. And so I’m looking for suggestions....

….aaaand I suppose right about now, just after the Christmas and Hanukkah revelry and just before ties and skirts are laid out for New Years Eve parties, would be the time that troops recently returned, with great fanfare, from Iraq are starting to the receive their orders to be head to Afghanistan?
They’ve got a job to do and they’ll do it, etc etc etc… but come on.
